Mihai Pop, Transaction Leader of APS Investments, is one of the speaker of MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2025.

Mihai Pop is the Transaction Leader of APS Investments, part of APS Holding since 2022, covering the groups transactions in more than 15 countries, with a focus on deep-asset investment, via NPL/SPL transactions, distressed lending, surplus asset disposals and structure optimizations.

Previously,  Mihai was Vice President at Balbec, focusing on sourcing, structuring, acquisitions, and portfolio management functions in Continental Europe for three years.

Before joining Balbec, Mihai was an Investment Manager with APS Investments team out of Bucharest, leading transactions in the South-Eastern European for 5 years 2015.

Before joining APS, Mihai has worked exclusively in M&A transactions, initially for 8 years in a boutique covering small and mid-market segments in South-Eastern Europe, reaching a Partner position, followed by 3 years in Ernst & Young Romania as the Head of M&A in the Bucharest office.

Mihai has an MBA in Finance from Bucharest Business School, in partnership with Telfer School in Ottawa, a MSc in Communication from SNSPA Bucharest and BA in Management from ASE in Bucharest.
