Vytautas Plunksnis, Head of Private Equity at INVL Asset Management, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU PRIVATE EQUITY & VENTURE CAPITAL SUMMIT 2026.
Vytautas Plunksnis has over 20 years of experience in the Baltic private equity and capital markets, investing in Central Eastern Europe, and handling M&A transactions. He has led investment projects from capital raising, deployment, and supervision of portfolio companies, helping them expand organically and via M&A, through to successful exit.
As a Partner and Investment Committee member at INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund and INVL Private Equity Fund II, Vytautas co-manages a combined portfolio of EUR 575 million. He also serves as the Head of Private Equity and a Member of the Board at INVL Asset Management and is an Investment Committee member at INVL Technology.
Vytautas holds management and/or supervisory board positions in several portfolio companies located in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Norway, Romania and Moldova. He is the Chairman of the Management Board of Pehart Group, the largest tissue producer in Romania, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Maib, a leading bank in the Moldovan banking market, and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Keskkonnateenused, a leading Estonian waste management company. Additionally, he is the founder and Chairman of the Management Board of the Investors’ Association (Investuotojų asociacija).
He began his career in 1999 as a financial analyst. From 2009 to 2015, he worked as an investment manager at Invalda INVL before taking on his current roles.
