“Noi in acest an am facut primii pasi spre decarbonatare. Bugetul alocat pentru aceste masuri de optimizare este in 2023 de aproximativ 2 mil. euro“, a mai spus Oana Gresoiu, Group Chief People, Culture and Sustainability Officer in cadrul Verdino Green Foods, in cadrul panelului Industrie alimentara al evenimentului THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022.

Ratingul ESG va ajunge sa blocheze investitia unui investitor institutional intr-o companie?

“Va ajunge in mod clar.

In ce sens?!

IFC a investit 180 mil.

RON, echivalentul a 180 mil.

USD in finantari verzi.

USD in finantari pe termen lung si a atras alte 29 mld. Pana la sfarsitul anului 2022, IFC emisese in lume peste 10,5 mld. USD in 178 de obligatiuni in 20 de monede“, a precizat Cristian Nacu, Senior Country Officer International Finance Corporation, in panelul dedicat tendintelor ESG la THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022.

stamatin colliers main

ppt 1 baza 624

“In ultimii 3 ani, observam aceasta efervescenta in energia regenerabila.

“Exista o oarecare bariera a autorizatiilor uneori.

In finantarile noastre pentru cresterea randamentului foloseam leverage (credite utilizate pentru achizitia companiilor – n.r.), care are alte conditii in 2022 – 2023 fata de cum erau in 2021.

Ministrul economiei Fl Spataru main

Au in continut, in obiective aceasta dezvoltare durabila.

First View to THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022. Rudolf Vizental, Co-Founder & CEO of ROCA Investments: Two of the most important challenges of a sustainability strategy are the intensity with which the company gets involved in the process and the quality of the committed sustainability-ESG objectives

“In the last 2-3 years a lot of social and economic fundamentals which we used to consider constants proved to be variables. More than ever, it’s time to have long term strategy, to understand and become more responsible for our impact. For Roca Investment, sustainability is no longer just a „trend”, but rather we see it as a turning point, an improved way of conducting our business which reflects into our core values, setting itself as a matter of identity. It is about who we are (Social impact), how we do (Governance), and what is our legacy (Environmental). Furthermore, as a local private investment fund involved in industry and agriculture, we raise the issue of duty and responsibility towards all of our stakeholders, and the impact our portfolio companies bring in the local economy”, said Rudolf Vizental, Co-Founder & CEO of ROCA Investments.

“A strong sustainability strategy comes with many challenges. Two of the most important being the intensity with which the company gets involved in the process and the quality of the committed sustainability-ESG objectives. We cannot help but strive to constantly push for a strong combination of these two”, he added.

First View to THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022. Horia Braun-Erdei, CEO Erste Asset Management Romania: Sustainable finance will merge with traditional finance, in the sense that many of the sustainability standards will become, so to speak, mainstream

“The financial system is a capital intermediation system, but today I would say that it is also an information intermediation system. In the case of sustainable finance, there is therefore a role for mediating information on the environmental impact and the social and institutional externalities of economic activity, from the scientific community and from the public to the business community or to other „capital users”. At the end of this exercise, however, I believe that sustainable finance will merge with traditional finance, in the sense that many of the sustainability standards will become, so to speak, mainstream”,  said Horia Braun-Erdei, General Manager and President of the Board of Directors of Erste Asset Management Romania.

“In Romania and in other places, it seems to me that we still look at sustainability as a „fashion”, as a business opportunity or, on the contrary, as a bureaucratic burden, but in reality my opinion is that this trend is a natural and inevitable one in the current climate change conditions, one that will radically change the way we think and act as economic actors. That is why, within the asset management industry and particularly within Erste Asset Management, the concern for sustainable investments becomes a constant for the agenda of any department, starting from sales, product management, legal & compliance, risk management, marketing and of course portfolio management”, he added.

First View to THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022. Oana Stamatin, ESG Chief Officer Colliers CEE & Romania: The property owners that will not align to the sustainable demands of the stakeholders will be left behind

“The sustainability challenges differ from the traditional ones since they are systemic, going beyond the boundaries of the organisation and including social and political dynamics. Due to the level of uncertainty on the market, especially regarding the legislation context (EU Taxonomy applicability and the required sustainable reporting: SFDR or CSRD), we will see delay in the implementation of sustainability aspects”, said Oana Stamatin, ESG Chief Officer Colliers CEE & Romania.

“However, we already have seen various tenants declaring ESG commitments, placing a higher emphasis on energy efficiency, carbon emissions reporting, green certifications and putting pressure on the developers and property owners to implement part of the work that will help them to reach the targets. I estimate that owners that will not align to these sustainable  demands of the stakeholders will be left behind.”, she added.

Oana Stamatin, ESG Chief Officer Colliers CEE & Romania, is one of the speakers of THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022 in the opening panel Trends.
