EBRD pregateste un imprumut de pana la 125 mil. Euro pentru finantarea partiala a programului de investitii a retelei locale de distributie de electricitate operata de concernul german E.ON. EBRD are un nou director de tara pentru Romania, iar Mark Davis este promovat Director Regional pentru Europa Centrala

Banca Europeana pentru Reconstructie si Dezvoltare (EBRD) intentioneaza sa imprumute pana la 125 mil. Euro pentru finantarea partiala a programului de investitii derulat de catre Delgaz Grid, compania locala de distributie din portofoliul concernului german E.ON, conform informatiilor disponibile pentru jurnalul de tranzactii MIRSANU.RO.

Finantarea urmeaza sa fie supusa aprobarii conducerii EBRD pe 4 octombrie 2023.

Potrivit documentelor EBRD, imprumutul ar putea ajunge la echivalentul a 620 mil. RON, fiind destinat unui proiect al Delgaz Grid al carui cost total este estimat la 3 mld. RON (peste 600 mil. Euro). Fondurile de la institutia financiara internationala urmeaza sa fie alocate pentru programul de investitii al companiei din perioada 2023 – 2025, care vizeaza modernizarea retelei de electricitate.

Delgaz Grid opereaza o retea de distributie de electricitate si de gaze naturale in jumatatea de nord a Romaniei. Infrastructura de electricitate administrata de catre Delgaz are o lungime de 81.000 km si este desfasurata in 6 judete – Iasi, Botosani, Vaslui, Suceava, Neamt si Bacau. Reteaua de distributie de gaze naturale are peste 25.000 km si se intinde in 20 de judete din jumatatea de nord a Romaniei.

Portofoliul de clienti al Delgaz Grid numara aproximativ 3,5 milioane de clienti rezidentiali si de business in Romania, catre care distribuie 5 TWh de energie electrica, potrivit datelor din 2022.

Delgaz Grid este controlata de catre concernul german de utilitati E.ON, printre actionarii minoritari ai companiei numarandu-se investitorul financiar german Allianz, respectiv ministerul energiei.

De asemenea, EBRD a anuntat pe 31 august 2023 o rocada la conducerea biroului din Romania, care este preluata de catre Victoria Zinchuk, care anterior detinea pozitia de Director Regional EBRD pentru Europa Centrala. Mark Davis, cel care a condus in ultimii ani biroul EBRD din Bucuresti, preia de la 1 septembrie 2023 postul din Zagreb ocupat anterior de catre Victoria Zinchuk, pozitie din care Davis coordoneaza operatiunile institutiei financiare internationale pentru pietele din Croatia, Cehia, Ungaria, Slovacia si Slovenia.

Mark Davis, Regional Director EBRD Romania and Bulgaria, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2020.

Mark Davis is the Country Director for Romania & Bulgaria, based in Bucharest. Prior to this, Mark was adviser to the VP Banking of EBRD.

Mark joined the EBRD as Head of Armenia. During his tenure, he led the expansion of the Bank’s overall business locally, contributed significantly to the creation of the Armenian Private Equity Fund, and helped deepen local capital markets.

Prior to joining the EBRD, Mark was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in Moscow having previously worked for Morgan Stanley in London.

Mark began his career at the World Bank in Washington D.C., where he was a senior country economist.
