Stere Farmache, President of the Executive Board of the Romanian Counter-Guarantee Fund, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2023.
In 1995, he was selected CEO and established the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), an institution that he led until 2009. Between 2007 and 2016 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the BVB and for 6 years he occupied its President position.
The Romanian capital market is the field to which his name is linked, as well as Stere Farmache developed his career in the financial-banking field, working for Depozitarul Central SA, Alpha Bank and Alpha Finance Romania where he held the leading positions: Vice President between 2006 and 2010, respectively First Vice-President, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alpha Finance Romania.
Since March 2022 he has been a member of the FRC Directorate, and since April 2023 he became President of the Executive Board (Directorate). Previously, between September 2015 and March 2020, he served a 4-year term mandate as a member and president of the FRC Directorate.
