Matei Paun, Managing Parter of Black Sea Fund, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2021 in the PE&VC panel.
He is founder of BAC-Investment Banking Romania in 2005, a leading M&A and corporate finance boutique. Matei is co-founder of HTI Group, a leading broker acquired by Morgan Stanley in 2007. He was CEO during the restructuring and sale of DNT, one of the largest Romanian ISPs.
Previous positions held were manager of Regent Pacific’s local investment-banking operations and Vice President with New York-based Firebird Management, a CIS/Eastern Europe equity hedge fund.
Matei Paun has a BA in International Relations from Trinity College, USA.
