„The IPO of Hidroelectrica and the investment decisions taken by the OMV Petrom and Romgaz for a project of magnitude of Neptun Deep, which is estimated to produce a total volume of around 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas starting from 2027 and which could trigger a 1 billion Euro bonds issuance by Romgaz, are milestones for the Bucharest Stock Exchange”, said Alina Radu, Partner NNDKP.
„Naturally, as a result of becoming a listed company, Hidroelectrica shall apply high level governance and transparency standards that would entail an increase in its performance”, she added.
„It is to be seen whether the development of Neptun Deep will be financed exclusively by own funds and (as touched on by Romgaz) funds attracted from the Romanian and international capital markets via bonds issuances, or banks financing will be also used to cover part of investments necessary for the completion of the project”, according to Alina Radu, Partner NNDKP.
