Bogdan Nafornita, CEO and co-founder of Profluo, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2026.
Profluo is the Romanian company building AI finance agents for back-office teams. Profluo’s platform is an AI layer between documents and the ERP: it reads, validates, codes and reconciles financial documents so they reach systems like SAP ready to post, with humans kept in control and a full audit trail. Profluo is also a certified Peppol Access Point (sending e-invoices across Europe and Middle East), and serves multinational clients across industries such as financial services, BPO, manufacturing, and logistics.
Before founding Profluo in 2016 with Cosmin Merișescu, Bogdan spent two decades as an unusually technology-minded finance executive. He started in finance in 1996 and joined Procter & Gamble in 1998. He was later Finance & Administration Director at S&T Romania, CFO for South East Europe / Romania at IBM, and CFO and Executive Board member at Automobile Bavaria, the BMW dealership network.
