She serves as an independent board member at maib, the largest bank in the Republic of Moldova, contributing to its strategic development and plans for listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. In collaboration with Nicolae Kovacs and the Catalyst Romania team she is in the process of establishing a private equity fund aimed at driving transformational investments in the entrepreneurial sector.
With over 25 years of experience in financial services, including roles as CEO of NN Pensii and executive positions at Citibank, Erste, RBS, and ABN Amro in Romania, Andreea brings extensive expertise in banking, asset management, private pensions, insurance, and capital markets. She is also an angel investor and business advisor for several local startups, demonstrating her commitment to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
