Tudor Grecu, with over 23 years of experience in financial services, joined KPMG in 2001 and has played a key role in building the firm’s Financial Services practice. He specializes in banking, insurance, and capital markets, and has recently extended his focus to the defense & security sector. He has played a leading role in supporting clients in major transformation, deals, and transactions.
Since May 2024, Tudor is leading KPMG’s advisory practice in Romania, covering sectors such as Deals, Consulting, Technology, and others.
Tudor also serves as KPMG in Romania’s liaison contact with the National Bank of Romania and the Financial Supervision Authority. Tudor is a Financial Auditor, a member of CAFR and ASPASS, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the UK. Throughout his career, Tudor has adapted to the evolving financial landscape, establishing himself as a forward-thinking leader passionate about progress and technological innovation.
He holds a degree in Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Stock Exchange from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, and has further enhanced his expertise with advanced insurance studies at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
