Remus Danila, Head IR & Business Development Bursa de Valori Bucuresti: Obligatiunile verzi pe bursa au ajuns in ultimii doi ani la 550 mil. euro, nivel comparabil cu cel al obligatiunilor clasice. Potential pentru emisiuni de obligatiuni albastre, o tema de investitii importanta in anii urmatori pentru investitori supranationali si cei aflati sub controlul statului

“2021 a fost anul in care am avut primele emisiuni de obligatiuni verzi, dar am avut si o emisiune de obligatuni cu link de sustenabilitate, fiind prima emisiune in Europa Centrala si de Est cea a companiei Autonom. Anul acesta, au continuat emisiunile de obligatiuni verzi. Ca si valoare, undeva pe la 550 mil euro ca si sume atrase din astfel de obligatiuni dintr-un total de aproximativ de 2 mld. euro atrasi in ultimii 2 ani. Aici trebuie mentionat ca din aceste 2 mld. aproape jumatate, mai exact 900 mil euro sunt emisiuni de titluri ale guvernului Romaniei in cadrul programului Fidelis“, a declarat Remus Danila, Head IR & Business Development Bursa de Valori Bucuresti, la THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022, eveniment organizat pe 25 octombrie de catre jurnalul de tranzactii MIRSANU.RO.

“Acum daca ne uitam la pietele globale, am vazut ca in prima jumatate a anului, nivelul emisiunilor de obligatiuni verzi este undeva la 500 mld. USD, ceea ce este o scadere destul de importanta de aproximativ 20% fata de anul trecut. Am vazut o jumatate de an in care mult iubitele actiuni de pe Nasdaq si top ESG rating au scazut in timp ce performerele au fost companiile care produc commodities (marfuri). Suntem intr-un recul sau o perioada de corectie, care ar trebui sa aduca si reajustare a filosofiei pe care investitorii o folosesc pentru a implementa ESG, pentru a include ratingurile ESG in strategiile lor de investitii“, explica Remus Danila.

“Am auzit destul de mult in ultima perioada si cred ca este o directie in urmatorii ani despre obligatiuni albastre, care sunt o subdiviziune a obligatiunilor verzi si care se concentreaza pe finantarea proiectelor care maresc managementul resurselor de apa. Ceea ce daca ne uitam la seceta de anul asta nu doar din Romania, ci si din Europa, si in China au fost probleme foarte mari, poate fi tema mai mult decat ne dorim noi. Este posibil sa fie o tema de investitii foarte importanta in anii urmatori si este posibil sa vedem investitori institutionali supranationali sau semi – state controlled care sa puna foarte mult accent pe canalizarea fondurilor in aceasta directie. Cumva este o idee pentru companiile care activeaza in acest sector sa ia in considerare oportunitatile existente“, puncteaza reprezentantul Bursei de Valori Bucuresti.

“Noi avem un proiect, suntem in al treilea an cu Sustainalytics pe care il desfasuram, la companii listate pe piata principala cu ratinguri ESG. Pentru anul acesta sunt in jur de 40 – 45 de companii care au astfel de rating din aproximativ 80 si un pic de companii de pe piata principala. Vorbim cu Refinitiv, vorbim cu Bloomberg, ne intereseaza sa dezvoltam acoperirea pietei prin intermediul acestor furnizori si agregatori de date, care sunt foarte urmariti de investitorii institutionali, sa diversificam dinspre Sustainalytics care a fost furnizorul unic de date ESG pentru companiile romanesti si speram sa existe mai multe astfel de analize si ratinguri, informatii disponibile investitorilor institutionali, ei sunt principala categorie de consumatori interesati si care au acces“, a mai spus Remus Danila, Head IR & Business Development Bursa de Valori Bucuresti, in cadrul panelului Finantare al evenimentului THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022.

Remus Danila, Head IR & Business Development Bucharest Stock Exchange, speaker at THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022

Remus Danila, Head IR & Business Development Bucharest Stock Exchange, is one of the speakers of THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022, an event organized by the transaction journal MIRSANU.RO and dedicated to changes and challenges generated by sustainability in business models and financing models of the companies.

Remus Danila has been involved in the capital markets field for 15 years, both in the brokerage business and in the stock exchange environment.

Between 2005 – 2016, he worked for the Belgian group KBC Securities in Romania, Belgium and Hungary, covering institutional clients active in the CEE region. Afterwards, he joined Budapest Stock Exchange as director for international relations.

Since 2019, Remus is part of the Bucharest Stock Exchange team, being responsible of Public and Investor Relations as well as Business Development activities, including the ESG related projects managed by BVB. He graduated the MBA program of HEC Paris and the Faculty of Finance and Banking of ASE Bucuresti.
