Euro de la un sindicat bancar format de catre EBRD alaturi de BSTDB, Exim Banca Romaneasca, NLB, OTP si Intesa. Platforma israeliana de energie regenerabila a anuntat pe 14 august 2026 contractarea unui pachet de finantare de 229 mil. Euro de la un sindicat bancar format de catre EBRD alaturi de BSTDB, Exim Banca Romaneasca, NLB, OTP Bank si Intesa, conform informatiilor disponibile pentru jurnalul de tranzactii MIRSANU.RO.

Banii sunt alocati pentru proiectul Parau 2, care vizeaza dezvoltarea unei central fotovoltaice de 342 MWp si a unui sistem de stocare cu baterii de 150 MW in judetul Brasov.

Sistemul de baterii va permite stocarea energiei electrice produse in locatie si livrarea acesteia in momentele in care reteaua are nevoie, contribuind astfel la integrarea energiei regenerabile in sistemului energetic din Romania si la cresterea flexibilitatii acestuia.

Pentru proiectul Parau 2, investitorul israelian Econergy a obtinut un Contract pentru Diferenta (CfD), pentru o perioada de 15 ani de la punerea in functiune comerciala, estimata pentru finele anului 2027/ inceputul anului 2028, pentru o capacitate maxima de 125 MW, la un pret de exercitare de 49,4 Euro/MW.

Din sindicatul de finantatori fac parte Banca Europeana pentru Reconstructie si Dezvoltare (EBRD), Banca de Comert si Dezvoltare a Marii Negre (BSTDB), Exim Banca Romaneasca S.A., NLB d.d., OTP Bank Plc si Banca Comerciala Intesa Sanpaolo Romania, impreuna cu filiala sa Privredna banka Zagreb d.d.. Aproximativ 114,4 mil. Euro din facilitatea principala de finantare beneficiaza de garantia Uniunii Europeane acordata prin programul InvestEU.

In cadrul tranzactiei de finantare a proiectului Econergy, EBRD a participat cu un pachet de finantare de pana la 120 mil. Euro, din care un imprumut de tip A de 57 mil. Euro acordat direct de catre institutia financiara internationala, precum si un credit EBRD de tip B de pana la 63 mil. Euro, care include o facilitate de rezerva pentru serviciul datoriei (debt service reserve facility, lb. eng.) de 3,6 mil. Euro, pusa la dispozitie de catre Privredna Banka Zagreb – parte a grupului bancar italian Intesa Sanpaolo Group – si de catre NLB d.d. – parte a grupului financiar sloven NLB.

In plus, Intesa Sanpaolo și Exim Banca Romaneasca vor pune in comun la dispozitie o facilitate de TVA in valoare de 25 mil. Euro și o facilitate de 9,5 mil. Euro sub forma unei scrisori de credit, pentru a sprijini cerintele proiectului aferente Contractului pentru Diferenta (Contract for Difference – CfD).

Pentru EBRD, tranzactia de finantare a proiectului Econergy marcheaza o premiera privind finantarea unui proiect hibrid de productie de energie solara si de stocare in baterii pe piata din Romania.

Inchiderea tranzactiei este asteptata sa aiba in aproximativ 3 luni de la momentul semnarii.
Proiectul Parau 2, aflat acum in faza de constructie, este asteptat sa atinga faza de intrare in productie comerciala catre sfarsitul anului 2027 sau inceputul anului 2028.

Grupul Econergy are un portofoliu de proiecte de peste 13 GW, fiind un jucator de talie europeana si un investitor in energie solara, energie eoliana, baterii de stocare a energiei in piete precum Germania, Marea Britanie, Italia, Spania, Romania, Polonia sau Grecia.

Cristian Nacu, Senior Country Officer of International Finance Corporation, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2025.

Romanian born and educated, with more than 25 years of experience in private equity, investment banking and privatization, Cristian Nacu is one of the most experienced and respected managers and investment professionals in the region. Since 2018, he is Sr. Country Officer for Romania of International Finance Corporation, an institution of the World Bank Group, returning to IFC after 13 years. Previously, between 1999 and 2005, Cristian Nacu worked at IFC as an investment professional.

For 12 years, between 2005 and 2017, he has been Partner in Enterprise Investors, one of the largest and oldest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe and he managed EI’s Representative Office in Romania. For the last two years of this period, he has been senior advisor of the President of the firm. Enterprise Investors has been one of the most active and successful private equity investors in CEE and Romania.

Cristian Nacu had also a prestigious non-profit activity being board member or chairing many professional or non-profit organizations. He is currently a Board member of Junior Achievement Romania, one of the worlds largest educational organizations for entrepreneurial skills and a Board member of the Romanian America Foundation, the largest American grant making foundation in Romania, investing in entrepreneurship, education and community development. He is also one of the founders of Re-Think Romania, a think tank dedicated to transforming Romania.
