Dan Boabes, BlackCab: Suntem in discutii pentru achizitia de flote de taxi pentru a intregi componenta de mobilitate cu serviciul de masa. Speram ca BlackCab va seta un standard de evaluare in zona aceasta

“Am venit la BlackCab atat pentru partea operationala, dar si pentru componenta asta de investitii si de crestere a companiei si aici lucrurile s-au clarificat destul de rapid de la primele date adunate din zona fondurilor si a trebuit sa ne repliem in zona VHNWI (The very-high-net-worth individual, indivizi care detin active nete de peste 5 mil. USD – n.r.), pe care i-am abordat BlackCab fiind un produs foarte interesant in sensul ca des utilizat de persoanele despre care vorbesc, top 10 companii CEO folosesc BlackCab“, a declarat Dan Boabes, Country Manager BlackCab, la MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2022, eveniment organizat pe 6 decembrie de catre jurnalul de tranzactii MIRSANU.RO.

“Am ales aceasta abordare pentru ca evaluarea nu ar fi foarte mare, evaluarea in zona private individuals cel putin in acest moment, dar si dintr-o perspectiva psihologica reactia a fost senzationala – da, folosesc produsul, am 500 de curse cu voi si sunt foarte confortabil sa investesc un milion – doua si cam pe aici ne uitam acum, insa momentul pentru o investitie institutionala poate nu este cel mai potrivit“, a adaugat Dan Boabes.

“Si atunci ne uitam foarte mult la zona asta de crestere, de a creste rapid prin achizitii, suntem in  cautare de a intra intr-o zona care poate am surprinde in sensul ca BlackCab este in zona premium si suntem in discutii in zona de achizitii servicii de taxi. Incercam sa intregim componenta de mobilitate cu serviciul de masa, BlackCab avand o forta de vanzare foarte buna in zona B2B, dar nu are suficiente produse sa alimenteze forta de vanzare si este o extensie naturala sa intram in zona de a achizitiona flote mari, in special cu componenta de taxi, care este slab manageriata si constatam ca zona asta de transport sufera atat din lipsa tehnologiei, cat si din lipsa unui management adecvat al proceselor de business“, puncteaza antreprenorul Dan Boabes.

“Referitor la evaluare, este o piata efectiv inexistenta.  Avem ca si reper tranzactia Clever Taxi, care ne poate da niste indicatori, insa nu stiu daca e cea mai relevanta. E o tranzactie cu valoare mica, daca ne uitam la tranzactiile globale pe zona de mobilitate, insa speram ca BlackCab sa seteze un standard in aceasta zona“, a spus seful BlackCab.

Care este mai fezabila sursa de finantare pentru o afacere de antreprenor in acest moment?

“Noi punem accent si pe zona aceasta de ESG, dorim sa avem si un impact social si ma bucur ca exista componente de finantare care adreseaza lucrul asta. Cand electrifici zeci de mii de masini impactul la nivelul societatii este mult mai mare, din punctul asta de vedere BlackCab si-a propus ca anul viitor sa avem peste 30% din flota electrica sau hibrida si cred ca partea asta de finantare care ia in considerare componenta ESG ne va ajuta sa ne optimizam costurile de finantare“, a mai spus Dan Boabes, Country Manager BlackCab la panelul de M&A din cadrul evenimentului organizat de catre jurnalul de tranzactii MIRSANU.RO.

Dan Boabes, Country Manager BlackCab, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU DEALMAKERS SUMMIT 2022.

Dan is a manager with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and IT.

Over the years, Dan Boabeș founded companies such as SimPlus – a mobile phone payment aggregator, CityLink – a provider of car sharing services or the 4mind.ro, a mental health and well-being project. In 2021, Dan Boabeș sold his shares at CityLink.
