René Schöb, Partner, Head of Tax & Legal at KPMG Romania, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU INVESTORS SUMMIT 2025.

In terms of M&As, Rene has overseen the work of diverse teams of KPMG in Romania’s Tax & Legal specialists, who have assisted clients with numerous major transactions on both buyer and seller side. These have included some of the largest deals on the Romanian market. Some have been covered in the media, while feedback from clients has been very positive. KPMG in Romania has a strong reputation as a preferred provider of M&A services, and Rene’s role as a coordinator of such projects has been critical. René, a Swiss citizen with German as his mother tongue, is fluent in English and Romanian. He is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Fiscal Consultants.
