Mihai Caruntu, Vice President at Association of Financial and Banking Analysts in Romania (AAFBR), speaker of MIRSANU IPO CHALLENGE 2025

 

Mihai Caruntu, Vice President at Association of Financial and Banking Analysts in Romania (AAFBR), is one of the speakers of MIRSANU IPO CHALLENGE 2025

Mihai Caruntu is currently employed as a Senior Analyst within the Corporate Finance Division of BRD-GSG. In this position, he provides analytical and valuation support while also identifying and evaluating opportunities for capital market transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.

Prior to his current role, until 2018, Mihai gained extensive experience as Head of the Equity Research Department at BCR, a position he held for over ten years. In this capacity, his core responsibilities included the analysis and valuation of key publicly listed companies on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as well as the publication of research reports and investment recommendations as part of Erste Group Research team.

Mihai brings over 20 years of experience in capital markets and company valuation. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics, and Economic Informatics at the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest. He has also completed the investment consultant certification program accredited by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).

Mihai has been a member of AAFBR since its establishment and has served as Vice President of the association since November 2022.

On April 10, 2025, the MIRSANU.RO transaction journal is hosting MIRSANU IPO CHALLENGE 2025, an exclusively ONLINE event for entrepreneurs and the capital markets community.
