Marius Cara, Head of EIB Group Office in Romania, is one of the speakers of MIRSANU SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2025.
Marius Cara is Head of EIB Group Office in Romania since March 2024. With over two decades of experience in finance and investor relations, he has held senior roles at both the EIB and the European Commission. From 2021 to 2024, he led Investor Relations at the European Commission, playing a key role during the EU’s landmark issuance programmes under SURE and NGEU. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years at the EIB in Luxembourg, including as Deputy Head of Investor Relations. He began his career as an auditor at PwC and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
