„PE and VC investors remain very active, at a level comparable with that of late 2020, when the M&A market came back roaring after the initial COVID shock. Competition for the good deals is, however, very intense. In VC, lots of start-ups are springing up to absorb the increasingly available funding, whereas PE investors must outcompete each other and strategic investors for a relatively limited universe of deals coming to the market. Increasingly, we see financial investors looking at renewable energy projects”, said Marian Dinu, Country Managing Partner DLA Piper Romania.
