Daniel Gross, CEO PENNY Romania, is one of the speakers of THE SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE 2022, an event organized by the transaction journal MIRSANU.RO and dedicated to changes and challenges generated by sustainability in business models and financing models of the companies.
Daniel Gross is the oldest general manager in retail in Romania, but also the CEO with a vast experience of over 20 years. Daniel Gross is currently responsible, together with Raffaele Balestra and Marek Dolezal, for the entire REWE activity in Romania – from the business strategy, the expansion plan to the customer satisfaction. This means that all the nearly 6,000 employees who are part of the PENNY team are his main concern and responsibility.
Daniel Gross directly coordinates the Sales, Expansion, Construction, Marketing, and Corporate Communication departments. Together with the team, he managed to reach this year 315 stores, 4 logistics centers, and to lay the foundations of a new approach from the perspective of employer that recently brought the title of Top Employer 2022.
