Constantin Damov, Co-founder and Chairman of GreenGroup, is one of the speakers at MIRSANU INVESTORS SUMMIT 2026.
GreenGroup is one of Europe’s leaders in resource regeneration and the circular economy.
He played a key role in developing GreenGroup’s PET recycling division, launched in 2002, which has since become a European benchmark in the sector, with operations across Romania, Slovakia and Lithuania.
Constantin Damov is also an acknowledged expert in waste management legislation. Over the years, he has been involved in various working groups focused on transposing European waste directives into national legislation.
As President of the Circular Economy Coalition – CERC, he actively promotes policies and initiatives that support Romania’s transition towards a circular economic model.
He also contributes to academic education, preparing a new generation of specialists through his role as Associate Professor in the first master’s programme dedicated to circular economy at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
